Best Western Dorchester Hotel Nanaimo, Nanaimo

The hotel had a wonderful harbor view from the room, but there was some noise from traffic and the air conditioner of the opposite building. The rooms were clean and comfortable, although we encountered a big seagull splat in the middle, which was a bit off-putting. The service was efficient, and the staff was friendly. The location was great, within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The dining experience was good quality, but there was an issue with facilities due to an electrical power outage at one point.

My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms needed some repairs and were a bit cluttered with furniture, but the service was really good, with the staff being very accommodating and friendly. The location was convenient for exploring Nanaimo, and the dining options were decent. However, the rooms were not always tidied properly, and there was a lack of replenished coffee and amenities. The view over the harbor was a nice touch too.

My stay at the hotel was fantastic. The rooms had a lovely view, were excellent, and the staff was friendly and helpful which made up for a lot of the other shortcomings. The location was right on the waterfront, offering a beautiful experience, although some areas could improve for a better guest experience. The dining experience, unfortunately, was closed during our stay, but the smaller amenities like free parking and a small business center were appreciated. Overall, a comfortable stay with great service and beautiful views.
